Frequently asked questions

IoT & Edge AI product, territory exclusivity, installers, earnings, onboarding, and exit — the questions applicants ask most.

What does Nivoryx build — and what would I sell?

Nivoryx is an IoT and Edge AI water platform. Customers subscribe to DASS (smart tank filling, level monitoring, and motor protection) on a monthly plan — no large upfront hardware purchase. As an NSP you sell those subscriptions, install the IoT devices, and provide local L1 support while Edge AI and the cloud power the customer experience.

Is this an MLM or a franchise?

Neither. There is no recruitment income, no downline, and no joining fee — you earn only from customers installed and served in your territories. There is also no franchise fee or royalty you pay Nivoryx. Legally it is a service-partner agreement: you run your own business, Nivoryx pays you (install fees + revenue share), and brand usage is licensed per store standards.

Can more than one NSP operate in the same pincode?

No. A territory is an exclusive set of pincode prefixes, and there is exactly one active NSP per territory. That exclusivity is the core of the deal — it does not limit how many exclusive territories a single NSP may hold.

Can one NSP hold multiple pincodes?

Yes — by design. A single territory is defined as a set of pincode prefixes (for example 122, 123, 124), so one territory normally spans several pincodes. That is different from holding multiple territories: many pincodes can sit inside one exclusive territory, and a strong NSP can also be granted additional exclusive territories.

Can one NSP hold multiple territories?

Yes. An NSP organization can hold many exclusive territories — each territory still has only one active NSP. You typically activate with one territory first; Ops grants additional territories as you scale (including right of first refusal when adjacent zones split). Multi-zone operation is an Elite-tier expectation; every grant is recorded in the territory register.

What is an NSP versus an installer?

The NSP is the partner organization — the legal entity that holds exclusive territories, runs the Nivoryx Store, and earns install fees plus subscription share. Installers are certified field technicians under that NSP. One NSP can have many installers; partner admins invite them in the portal and assign territory coverage. Installers work jobs and tickets; they do not hold the territory agreement themselves.

Can I hire my own installers?

Yes. Your partner admin invites installers in the partner portal; each person must pass Nivoryx certification before they can be assigned installs. Certification is per person, so every team member goes through training. Only certified installers can be assigned field work.

What do I earn?

Two streams, both paid to you ex-GST and less TDS: (1) installation fees — you receive 100% of the ex-GST fee, about ₹423 / ₹677 / ₹847 on the ₹499 / ₹799 / ₹999 incl-GST customer prices for 1/2/3-device configs; (2) monthly revenue share on the ex-GST subscription amount of active customers in your territories at 10/15/20/25/30% (Certified→Elite). The same rate applies whether you sold the customer or Nivoryx assigned them from an online sale.

When and how am I paid?

Calendar-month cycle: itemized statement by the 7th, NEFT within 15 days of month-end. TDS is deducted. Raise payout disputes in writing within 30 days of the statement — only the disputed line is held, not the whole payout.

How are customers assigned to me?

By installation-address pincode, resolved against the territory register — never by who made the sale. Self-sourced customers (you sold them) and company-assigned customers (bought online in your territory) both earn you the full install fee and the same tier rev-share. Attribution is fixed at install time.

What's the upfront investment?

No franchise fee. A refundable demo-kit deposit of ₹20,000, plus your store lease and fit-out (partner capex, branded to Nivoryx standards). Nivoryx bears hardware, cloud, payment processing, marketing collateral, training, and L2 support.

Do I ever handle customer money?

No. All customer payments — subscriptions and install fees — flow through Nivoryx checkout (Razorpay). Install fees are passed through to you on the monthly statement. Collecting cash from a customer is a hard breach.

How long does enrollment take?

Target ≤4 weeks from application to activation: apply → screening → KYC → interview and territory fit → training and certification → agreement → demo-kit issuance → activation. Then a 90-day probation at the Certified tier.

What if I want to exit — or Nivoryx terminates?

The agreement is 12-month auto-renew with 30 days' notice either way. Offboarding: access revoked, open work reassigned (30-day handover), demo kit returned and deposit settled net of damage, branding removed (15 days), then final statement and payout. Customers, payments, and data stay with Nivoryx.

Can I lose a territory?

Yes, in three ways: (1) anti-squatting — after a ramp period you must add enough net-new self-sourced activations each quarter or Nivoryx may shrink or reassign the territory; (2) quality — sustained low scorecard scores trigger retraining, downgrade, and possible termination; (3) hard breach — mis-selling, cash collection, or unauthorized data export escalate immediately.
